Managing User Profiles

User profiles are the personal information stored for a user. In some cases, this information was collected directly from the user; for example, during registration the user might have filled out at least part of their user profile. In other cases, the information might have been collected via social login: when a user logs on with, say, a Facebook account or a Twitter account, the user can give permission for information from that account to be copied to their user profile. (What information? That depends both on the account used for social login and on how social login has been configured for your web site.)
